PRWeb (New York) – The Perry Street Collective Art Studio presents the latest J C Morisse solo show.
Long fascinated by the possibility of combining the ephemerality of performance art with the unique context of locative art, Morisse, usually known by his nom de guerre, “Dubious Milkface,” speaks to his latest illuminated revelation.
Inspired by a particularly good feeding this morning, I strapped myself onto Dad and created my lastest masterpiece. This self-portrait represents my journey to three different drug stores to find the right diapers and some really strong coffee. This piece is my greatest self-expression yet.
My medium is humidity.
Update for Pat, from J C’s Koons/Wharhol days:
Jack the Giant Slayer slept so long last night, that I dreamt he used up his stores becoming so skinny we had to fatten him up all over again. C dreamt I got up in the middle of the night and ate hot dogs.
Took the wee one out for our Saturday morning grab-a-coffee-and-give-Mom-an-hour’s-sleep and dropped croissant flakes all over his hair. Tried to convince Carol that “croissant cap” is the West Village/global citizen version of cradle cap.
